Found a button I can't identify?

So I just bought a 2012 Unlimited, when I was running wires for lights I came across a button next to the OBD plug I can't identify. It doesn't do anything when I push it and can't see where the wires go.
I think it's an aftermarket something but can't identify it at all.

Does this look familiar to anyone?

If it's the green button on the little black fob; it's a alarm system eliminator device used at dealerships. When the alarm is removed they place this plug in its place. Best way to make sure is check with the dealership where you pick up your jeep. I see these all the time at my dealership when we bring in a trade from another location. I hope this helps

Interesting. So the switch goes to a wiring harness that's plugged into a box ziptied to the steering column, it's got 8 or 10 wires in it. The only thing visible on the box is a green plastic screw labeled min and max.
The wiring harness splits, most of the wires go into the steering column near the ignition, some wires go to what looks like a big white relay under the dash. I can't find anything going anywhere else, but I may just be missing more wires somewhere.

When you said min and max, I'm thinking it's a well hiddne aftermarket alarm system with either a shock sensor or microwave sensor you can vary the settings on. The button you see by the OBD would be the valet button or over-ride button. My aftermarket alarms have the same thing only mine is a switch. If the alarm fob dies I still can get into the vehicle with my key, but I can't turn the alarm off. If I turn the key to "acc" mode and push the switch, it turns the alarm off.
