Found a great way to protect my paint!

Took the doors off for the first time a few days ago and needed a barrier between the socket wrench and the paint. Thought about a rag and then this magnet I keep stuck on the tool bench caught my eye. It worked perfect!

I ordered in on bighairynews. com which is not safe for work(nothing bad really just not office appropriate) so I won't post a link but its easy to find. The really sad part is, I've yet to actually drive around with it because then I'd have to take it off everytime I parked it.

Funny how I've never once messed with a liberals car with their pro-Obama stickers on them. But you know it wouldn't take long for mine to be messed with. Weird how that works huh?

Not me. They go back on in the winter and that's it. Too much work to always undo them

This was the first time the doors have been off, so this was for taking them out.

Once they are out, they are out. It's not like someone is gonna walk away with them. Half doors are a different story though.
The magnet is funny. I'm not a fan of either party and I've always wondered why people advertise that. I always thought you would invite jerks/fanatics from the other party to damage your vehicle. Then be forced to exercise your gun rights on them. Well, growing up in Texas we could...

Yah most leave them off. I leave them off in the summer but in the winter they keep the road salt out the hinges.
As long as you keep the doors locked no one can steal the doors.

Yeh, and would you ever key a car with a Obama sticker on it? No? Funny how that works huh?

I use cling film....a bit thicker than, but similar to that used to wrap food. Great put on sides when "green laning" as it really does stop thorns and branches scratching

It's even worse here in the People's Republic of Illinois.
Great idea though for wrenching around the bodywork on any vehicle.

Yeh, I can only imagine. I feel truly sorry for you! I have friends who are trying to make a positive difference in that state though, I wish you all the best there!

Well being pro something and attacking something are different scenarios. You might be a little more upset at the Prius with a sticker that says "Republicans have little d*cks, that is why they always act like a big one..."

Actually I wouldn't be upset at all. That is their right to believe that and display it. Warrants no physical retaliation on my part at all. Their car is totally safe from me. I would never mess with it over that.

Plus, I'm not a Republican. I'm an Independent/Libertarian. But, even if their sticker reflected that, I still wouldn't be a threat to them. Yet, I can't say the same of them, that tells me a lot.
