found another small leak

i noticed this one other time after a rain. sitting, then going to work. passenger side again. just a few small streams of water over the sill panel in the front corner. kind of blew it off. not bad. very little water. well, we had a soaker last night. went somewhere this morning and saw it again. (after i started moving). all right. went to the dealer. said "grab a flashlight". the service rep got to see it first hand. ok. when you want to get it in? monday ok. fine with me. too bad i did not notice it this week eairler. but we had no rain. i am on vacation. he opened the door and feels that its coming from the corner then behind the trim panel, then inside over the sill. "they are a PITA is jokingly said". they got me 99% leak free the prior visits, so hopefully just a tweak. its a very small amount, but none the less a leak. better now than outta warranty.

be afraid, be very afraid. well, they did not get done by 2pm yesterday, so they picked me up a rental. rental place is below me (walking distance). i said "is it giving you problems"? well we located where its comming in, we just dont know why? for a small sill leak i thought it would be easy. i will give credit. they fixed the main leak above door second visit. so i am in a holding pattern till i hear back. have faith....

It will be fixed until the next time you take off your panels or doors and then it's back to square one.

funny you mention that. i have not as of yet, removed my top (hardtop) or doors. and in fear of causing leaks, sadly proabably never will.

Don't live in fear, man. If you never take the top or the doors off, you won't fully enjoy your Jeep.

I took my hardtop off a few times, no leak thus yeat. Good thing I was not scared of problems with it. If it starts leaking, I'll just switch to a soft top, problem solved :-)

P.S. I have a 2010, maybe it's different.
