Freedom top seal - leaky jeep

Does anyone know the part number for the seal that goes between the frame of the windshield and the freedom tops on a 2door JK. All I have been able to find is the seal that goes between the freedom tops and the hardtop.

also, I can't figure out how to post a new thread directly from the IPhone app.

thanks all,

The 3 year/36,000 mile warranty should have transferred to you.

Make sure your freedom tops are installed exactly right, and none of the seals are pinched. If that doesn't fix it, leaking freedom tops are a well known problem that should be fixed by the dealer under your warranty.

EDIT: Hey, welcome to the forum! Is there any way to get warranty work done in Guatemala?

This .pdf on Wrangler leaks may help you: http://wkjeeps.com/misc/Wrangler/JK_Water_Leaks_All.pdf

Thanks Uphill. Nope, no warranty for this car Since I shipped it down from NJ. My seal is actually cut in two, but I can't find the piece number to replace new one. Got footage inside the car, there are two waterfalls coming down through the insides panels (not the door). I hope this is fixes the seal change.

Attache some pics so theres an Idea of where the leaksa are.

The .pdf I linked above has the part numbers for all the seals, etc. It is a bit of a struggle to wade through the whole thing and interpret what it all means, but, you should be able to figure out which one of yours is cut by comparing pictures in the manual.

From your description, it sounds like you are referring to the Windshield Header Seal which is part number 55397454AE. But, to replace it, you need some other parts, too. Refer to the Water Leak .pdf for instructions.

Good luck!
