Front Axle Seal

Hey y'all. Noob here. Gotta question: passenger side front axle seal is leaking on my 2009. Can't find a Hayne's repair manual. I'm assuming the wheel, brake assembly and axle need to be removed. I'm fairly handy in the garage, but am curious if there are any special tools I'll need for this? Anything else I should know?

Thanks!

The brakes/ axles and diff have to come out as the seal is right out side the diff housing vs at the end of the axle like the rear or ford 8.8

Bummer. Sounds like a job for a professional, not a garage monkey like me.

If you have a tq wrench you are good just put the main caps back on the way they came off and be careful not to scratch the bearing. It should be under warranty?

I thought you just need a 32mm for the axle shaft?

Unfortunately, she's just over the 36k limit for the warranty. I've always been leery about pulling diffs, as so much can go wrong. Maybe I'm concerned for no reason. I'd feel a lot better tackling this with a repair manual. Does anybody know where to find a repair manual for the JK?

I believe the drivetrain warranty is 5 years, 60k miles.

Axle seals are easy. Just time consuming. Get an aftermarket greasable axle seal, never leak again.
