Front Bumper

Hi Guys, I'm still new to the Jeep world, but I have been looking into getting a new front bumper and winch for my 2013 JK. I looked at the front bumper thread on this forum and it was slightly overwhelming. I came across this bumper on Ebay and I am a little bit confused as to why it is so inexpensive.

Does anyone know why? And if it will fit a 2013?

Zack

First thing that jumped out at me is that it is "textured black". Is that paint? Personally I would want something that is powder coated to stand up to the elements. Second...it could be made with cheap sub par steel that could rust out in no time. It's anyone's guess.

Looks like a nice bumper. D ring mounts, hoop, winch mount and plate. For 279 and free shipping, I'd chance it. If you even get 2 years out of it, it would be a bargain.
Have had my XHD bumper for 3 years and I'm kind of tired of it, but I got other mods I want before another bumper. Appears to be a good deal. Could be just some guy fabricating bumpers and selling them.

Just because it's powdercoated doesn't mean it will stand up to elements. It is more durable yes but many places cheap out and have a shitty application which is no better.

Also I painted my front bumper with a rattlecan. When it gets a ding I spray it again and nobody can tell.

Also to the op the bumper is made in china but I've seen lots of people with them. If I liked the style I'd give it a try but I wanted something lighter. I bet that thing is pretty heavy.

You get what you pay for. Don't expect this bumper to last a lifetime.

These are Smittybilt bumpers under a different name.

Read under item specifics.

Awesome bumper... get it and have it sprayed in Linex or rhinolining material and call it a day..... once it's all said and done, your gonna have quite a bumper for a super low price.... as for if it will fit... best person to ask is the seller.....

It's not the same thing they are just using the part number to automatically list the compatibility.

Google that smittybilt model/part number and you will the the smittybilt bumper and see it is not the same.

Thanks guys, I think I will go for it if I can figure out if it will fit a 2013. The seller isn't exactly easy to contact
