Front Bumper Mod

My Son and I attacked the front bumper of our 2007 JK after installing new Smittybilt fenders this past week. The OEM bumper looked too goofy sticking way out over the tires.....all we wanted was a way to go offroad without tearing the stock fenders off. Here are some pics of the mod. Keep in mind, we are not skilled with air tools, grinders, or a sawzall.....but we had free access to all and took advantage of it. I will post details, if you are interested. All the design "save the fogs" credit goes to my 15 year old son, who spent most of the afternoon designing the fogs to fit inside the metal "underbumper". As most of you know, if you strip the plastic bumper off, you usually cannot salvage the fogs as they reside inside the plastic bumper......

Great Job Looks really good.

So it's been, and shall be weighed: though many are born, few are "made". Faithful Always, they shall remain, dogs to loose when war is waged.
