Front Bumpers with license plate

Looking to upgrade bumpers. Here in Jersey we're required to have a front mounted plate. Some of the bumpers I've looked at would look ridiculous with a Jersey Plate in the center. anyone have any pics or suggestions.

In MA.we have to have one also. The hell with it i keep the second one in the vehicle.Last time i got pulled over for it the cop explained to me people use the second plate on another vehicle. He gave me a warning because i had 2nd one in my person. You could get a vanity plate so it's something you could live with.

Well there are several variations of the fairlead license plate bracket that you can find a different places. What I don't like about those is that it's too easy for someone to pull it off and steal your license plate for whatever reason, even if just to screw with you. But you could get one of these and just keep your front license plate with you in the Jeep, and if you get stopped, you can try saying that you forgot to put it back on after your last offroading trip.

Fortunately for me, when I got my ShrockWorks Bumper, it came with two holes along the top to screw in the bottom of my license plate. It also helps keep my winch out of sight from nosey trouble-makers.

Here In NH we are required to have one also. I just ordered a new bumper and I am installing a winch. I think this is what I am going to use for the license plate.

doing this helps, cut off the ends of the bumper makes it look a lot better

You can buy plastic inserts for mounting plates at places like autozone or pep boys.
I drilled holes in my Dirtworx, so I could mount the plate up front. Goop it up with some silicone, and it's watertight.
Both plates are required in Oregon as well.

Same down here, just depends what type of bar you are after I guess. I got the ARB bar which comes with a flip up number plate mount to cover the fairlead rollers. Not that I have a winch yet....

Cheers from Downunder, Dave.

the 'rule' says on the front, but does it specify 'on the bumper'? how about mounting it on the fender?

If you only have a Jeep, every problem appears as a rock. I like rocks.
