If you use a bolt/weld in frame front hitch--it'll take as much as the rear hitch, but
When you use the bumper/hitch, like mine--it's a light OLYMPIC bumper and is used for light boat/trailer MOVING around and very light recovery pulling/w smaller winch--
You should never hook up a stranded vehicle, to your front end and try towing in reverse--bad news-
Any full recovery should only be done with FRAME mounted hitchs/winchs--
This one is a 2500lb ATV winch, but works for light crap and only weighs 25lbs with hitch-plate, pretty easy to move around-
The Oly bumper is a 530 series, but I forget the rest of the number--check quadratec/4wdparts/vender on board-
