Fuel Door Options...

I need to get a fuel door for my new JK. I'm debating on whether or not to get just a cover (attaching to existing gas cap cover) or doing an entire replacement.

Any suggestions? Do the cheaper priced covers look just like the replacements?

I happen to be a jeep rookie myself and I was looking at one of the billet locking gas covers I saw on quadratec.com It is a full replacement. It says minor drilling involved which I dont like but.....I'm going to look more at a locking one that doesnt require drilling but I want to replace the exsisting instead of covering it up. Thats just me though. Good luck.

Here's a video one of our sales guys did for 4WD on installing our fuel door cover.

I do not know, but would guess it's about the same process for the ones made by other companies.

Geoff, thanks for the video. I actually saw this on YouTube while searching for installation instructions. Seems like an easy install; might have to buy the 2 door version for my Sport.
