fuel take size and reserve

Hey all,

Any idea if the 10's have any kind of "reserve" built into the DTE guage? I previously had 07 Tundra and when I "0" miles to empty I knew I still about 5 gallons left (50-60 miles) not that I ever pushed it that far. Plus I had read someplace that Toyota did that by design.

Not knowing what size tank I have I've yet to be able to tell if there is a reserve or not. Furthermore when my DTE gauge hits about 30 miles it defaults to Low Fuel. Anyway of resetting that so that I get the mileage again prior to filling up?

Thanks
David
