I asked the question here a while ago about removing electric door mirrors and got no answers. I finally got around to seeing what was involved in removing my electric/heated mirrors for relocation when I remove my doors.
Bad news. The wire that runs up into the mirror has no coupler that I could see. This means you can't simply remove the mirrors and bolt them to a relocation bracket (or tube door, or half door, etc). Since I hate doing electrical work, fabricating a coupler isn't in the picture, so I just ordered some replacement mirrors and will use them when the doors are off.
If anyone has a different solution, please share. Its too late for me, but someone else could benefit.
