Gas hatch

Has anyone installed a gas hatch with or without lock ?

how complicated is it to install ? does it require drilling in the body of the jeep or just in the plastic already there ?

Thanks

There's no drilling. The stock part gets removed. Go to the quadratec site and you can download the directions.

I one I installed used the original screws and holes. It took about 5 minutes to install. I don't have pics, but it was the black aluminum one from 4 wheel parts.

Check some of the others. I don't think you need to drill for the moose one but could be wrong.

I have the Mopar cover and I like it. No lock. I have the Mopar locking gas cap. I think having a locking gas cap is a good idea. It won't really stop someone who has some experience but it will keep a kid from putting something down there. They are at perfect kid height.

The Rugid Ridge requires you putting in 4 screws. They go right into the plastic insert which is there already. With a power drill/ driver it goes straight in no problem.
