Gas smell

Quite a predicament here, just put my lift and tires on the other day after my jeep sitting for 9 months over deployment, now I'm getting a strong gas smell near the rear right. I believe it to be a leak but can't find any signs of one. I have to drive back to Fort Drum NY tomorrow (where I am stationed) from Northeastern PA (where I live) and do not want to be engulfed in flames along the way. Let me hear some opinions.

Old gas usually has a more pungent smell to it. I would top it off, drive a bit and check for leaks again. It could just be coming from your evap canister also.
