Gear install - Charlotte, NC area

Anyone in the area have Jeep re-geared? Recommend a shop to handle? Feel like you got a good deal and pleased with results? Also what year ad model do you have? I have 2012 Rubi and want to be sure the lockers will not be an issue.
Thanks.

Have heard alot about Carolina Truggies, I have not used them. But unless I find someone else, they will be doing my truss install.

I talked to the guys at Truggies for a while when I was going to be in town about getting a lift ( I ended up not able to go). good people. 4 wheel parts may also be able to do it. also I know that some guys in some of the jeep clubs around can do it/have done it themselves so check the clubs on nc4x4/post out there as well

I've gone to Carolina Truggies. I didn't have them do any work, but they have a cool shop. Their little track in the back they use for testing is sweet. My dad has a 94 xj with a 4" lift and he had 4wheelparts off south blvd. do the work. It has been offroaded multiple times and the install was done 15 yrs ago with no problems today.

If you can handle the Asheville area - Jody Treadway. Was a master mechanic at a Jeep dealership there. Now has his own place - as well as running a lumber yard ! This guy is top notch and part of the club in the area. He regeared my TJ, as well as put in Eaton Trutracks. Will eventually have him install a lift on my JK ( and maybe truetracs .. )
