Gear Pattern Check

While I'm having a Yuengling break, can someone give me advice on my pattern? This is my first time doing something like this and want to get it right. The drive side looks good, but the coast is a bit to the heel. I can't really figure out what I need to do to get it center. Looks decent from top to root. Don't mind the red piece of rag stuck on the carrier....

Drive side:

Coast side

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the input guys! Well, I went ahead and tried some more things. This one is with a tad less behind the pinion. Both first post and this are with .008 backlash. These are Alloy 4.56 gears (2012 JKUR, auto) Had 3.73 initially.

Coast:

SOrry for the change in lighting. The sun wouldn't let me finish. What do you think should I go with, #1 or #2? I'm thinking #1.
