Getting the horn to beep when locking doors

Sorry if this has been asked but I am new here and tried looking around but didn't find anything.

Is there a way to get the horn to beep when locking and/or unlocking the doors?

Thanks

I absolutley hate a horn! So I turned mine off. But if you MUST have to hear it...

1. Press the RKE transmitter LOCK button for 4 to
10 seconds.
2. While the LOCK button is pressed (after four seconds),
press the RKE transmitter PANIC button. Release both
buttons.
The “Sound Horn On Lock” feature can be reactivated by
repeating this procedure.

If it's a'47 ford, could be tough, you don't indicate what you are talking about

If, perchance it's a new JK--read the manual, if Mine '08 Rubi was here in Ca, I'd help you--if thats what you're talking about, but

It ain't and I am

Good luck

I just like knowing that it is locked when I hit the button, and my last vehicle beeped when locked so I am just used to it.

Thanks

RKE = Remote Keyless Entry! You can also use this instead of horn...

The “Flash Lights With Lock” feature can be
turned on or off using the following steps:
1. Press the RKE transmitter UNLOCK button for 4 to
10 seconds.
2. While the UNLOCK button is pressed, (after four
seconds) press the RKE transmitter LOCK button. Release
both buttons.

always happy to help another NRA member.. Just take it to the dealership and tell service what you want them to do. They can do it for you, it may cost a couple bucks but better then messing around with it.
