Goin' to the Dunes! What do I need to take?

Just got an 07 Rubi. I want to go with my friends to Little Sahara, but I have always taken atv's. So is there anything special I should take? Thanks

12 volt compressor for starters.I have to air down to 12 psi to get good traction and even that i still get stuck every now and then.

x2 on the compressor. Also a low pressure tire gauge, recovery equipment: strap, jack a piece of wood to place a jack on, fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, tire change tools, minor tools for misc repairs................

folding chairs, umbrella, refreshments...........

No, I have gone as low as 5lbs in sand before, but that was with bias-ply tires. 10 is about as low as I would go with on stock size tires and I run my 33's at 8-11 when I go. You don't to go so low that you roll a bead off.

x2 what 4point said.

Matter of fact when i used to have the factory moab rims i ran it to 12 psi and didnt pop a bead. The only reason why i replaced it with the Procomp steelies is i dont feel comfortable with the wheel spacers.I needed it because my MTZ are 12.5 wide and rubbing the sway bar at full lock.

shovel and winch would help...
When all else fails, bury your spare and use it as an anchor to winch from. Sand can be tricky; maintain your momentum. Make long graceful arcing turns, no sharp turns.
