I didn't really want something like a white that would stick out so much... a dark color would blend in a little more. See any pictures of anything like that?
How about black on black. If you went with a black satin decal, it would look pretty sweet.

Or a charcoal metallic, it would be more like a shadow than in your face.

When you guys apply the smaller decals (3-4 inch) from somewhere like pixeldecals.com, are you wetting the surface or just applying it dry?

I applied mine dry last time. Got some bubbles. Since I want to modify them (font change and adding "Fine print", i will have my daughter install them. She installs them using the wet method.

No, he's making an "inside joke." The decal you have is the logo for Project-JK, which is related to JK-Forum. They are actually competitors of this site, the Wrangler Forum.

However, because this site is WAY COOLER, the mods here recognize that there is a lot of good info on those sites and generally don't complain about having folks put up links to relevant write-ups at Project-JK or threads at JK-Forum.

By contrast however, if you ever become a member of JK-Forum, I would advise you not to post any links to this site or refer to it in any way. You should also never post links to products that compete with their sponsors' products. Doing so may get you "banned" from the site, which--while admittedly JK-Forum's choice to make--many folks view as an overly aggressive policy. Scooter in particular is no fan of JK-Forum and this is the joke he was making.

MTH nailed it. I was one of the original members over there, never said anything negative about anyone, provided advise when asked for, then I got banned because one of his minions saw a picture of my jeep with a "competing forum" sticker on it. I've had friends banned because they provided real world experiences when asked about products from manufacturers in Eddie's pocket.

Life is better here.

Its no big deal. Oh I know the plate is a joke, I was just making a pun on what it said. I know there is a "rivalry" between both forums, but since I joined here I obviously like this one more.

I don't like the JK Forum or Project JK and I don't plan to join either. The only reason i got the decals is because one, i have a JK and two I think they look cool IMO.

I initially put their decal on also because I like the logo, but I'm getting kinda bored of it now and considering removing it. That said, I AM a pretty active member on that forum and I have lots of good friends there that I enjoy wheeling/camping/partying with, just like here.

Considering replacing my stock silver decals on my fender with reflective black ones from pixeldecals ad well as adding custom ones . Your image looks more silver, is that from the camera flash? I want true black so I thought I would inquire with you. Like your logo.

Yah, it's black. I used the flash in that other picture to show the reflective property of the decal. Here's another look without the flash.

Here's mine.

Thought about removing the "WRANGLER" and "SPORT" but haven't figure out what to replace them with....would look a little naked and empty without something to replace them with. A friend removed both of hers because they were badly crooked when she got the Jeep from the dealer (the guys putting the decals on probably had a little too much to drink).
