I'm a rock n roll guy, but for no top, I'd say Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Cray, old-school Eric Clapton (not really any other kind), BB King, Foghat, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, etc.

If you're in the hood and want peeps to know what's what, some Stabbing Westward or Metallica's "Outlaw Torn" at max volume works well for scattering the mice.

What is wrong with you people??? T-Rex. Jeepster.

Also, anything with massive amours of cowbell - like Mississippi Queen by Mountain.

Or (with the top off, of course), Voodoo Child, by Hendrix.

Might that have some bearing on your WF handle?

Putting that in my ballandchain file, for future reference.

Kind of. It has been done by a few artists that I like. Same song title but different lyrics/style of music. Aerosmith, Sublime and Social Distortion.

Less Than Jake! Great fast paced music with brass instrument backgrounds. Fun stuff for off road.

Always acceptable to play some Sublime or Bob Marley while cruising A1A "Beach front avenue!"

I've got two driving moods, one is Van Halen, AC/DC, Quiet Riot and other metal and rock from the 70's and 80's
The other is a folder in my iPod called hammock music Jimmy Buffett, Jack Johnson, Zac Brown, Jake Shimabukuro and Bob Marley.

Believe it or not, I listened to this and another song still not posted to Youtube when I was in high school, whether it was a Ford station wagon or a lifted GMC sidestep that was auctioned off to Dad after confiscation from a Coyote.

But seriously...

bless up mi lion!!!! my Iphone/pod is probably 90+ percent reggae. I've spend a fair amount of time working with some artists as a photographer so I"m absolutely biased but to me, nothing beats a good one drop vibe when the sun is streaming in! Drop me a PM if you want and I might be able to point you to some stuff you've probably never heard of.

One love!

Here's a few samples (shhh, I'm technically no supposed to post some of these...)

Peetah Morgan @ St. Lucia Jazz Fest

Stephen Marley @ HOB

Taj Weekes @ Wilbert's

Fortunate Youth @ Beachland Ballroom

When I get self conscious I change it to Reggaeton (Alexis & Fido, W&Y, Aventura) or just Dubstep. ^.^ that's more "city-approved" music haha

I this message. I was listening to Shoot to Thrill the other day on the radio when it cut out half way through for a stupid emergency broadcast system test. Oh man was I pissed. To rectify that situation, I cranked it up as loud as it would go on the greatest song ever to contain bagpipes

Question: What song was that

ACDC with Bon Scott, Reggae, Crue, most anything Outlaw Country, Skynyrd, Buffett and if I want to show of the sub I'll drop some Bass Nectar. My kids want me to play Slim Shady, Levi Leegit, Kid Cudi, Ludacris and Jurassic 5 but they also like some Rage Against the Machine when they are riding topless.
