Good looking wheels that aren't black?

I'm formulating my plan for the upgrades on my Jeep and that involves new wheels. A lot of people like black or at least dark wheels. While that's fine for other people, I'm not a fan.

I'm going to be running 35" Duratracs when it's time for the new tires on either 16" or 17" wheels. I like to run on the narrow side for the wheels so something in 8.5-9.5" wide would be what I'm looking for.

So if you have some pictures of good looking wheels that aren't black, post them up.

I'm with you. I also don't care for the overdone black wheel thing and opted for grayish, or tungsten as mine are called, and went with some Black Rock Vipers.

It was a toss up between them and the Ultra Nomads. I like them too.

Found these on Google of the Nomads

I think I'm more of a fan of the style of the Nomads. I didn't think the finish would look good but now that I see real world pictures, they're not bad.

Those don't look bad either.

Would the silver/gray wheels look good on a silver jeep?

I like the Rugged Ridge wheels. They have a few non-black finishes, including silver powdercoat. I wouldn't want to maintain polished wheels, so I think that is a nice balance of looks, durability and ease of maintenance.

PS: Every time I see those Pintlers, I think how thin they look where the spokes meet the wheel. They might be strong, but they sure look flimsy!

I'm not sold on all black either, I like the look of those Nomads - some Sahara Tan on them instead of grey and I'd be sold!

I am not usually a fan of anything shinny, but I got these wheels for song when I upgraded tires. They have been good so far. A bit narrow at 17x8, but they work fine for tires I have on them. They are XD Spy wheels.

AEV Pintlers or Savegre, they have the correct backspacing so they do not stick out and put additional stress on the axles and they are hub centric like the factory wheels.

I like the Method Fat Fives. They look good in black, but I'm waiting to see some on a JK in gray before I decide.

Here's some on a Raptor. I think the center cap is missing:

I finally settled on Mickey Thompson Classic III wheels. 17x9 with a 4.5" back spacing.

Most wheels you can get in black, you can also get in silver or gray. I'm partial to the AEV Pintlers.

Hubcentric only makes it easier to install the wheels. Just have to retorque lug centric a couple times after putting them on. Some trucks didnt go hubcentric til the late 90s.
