Good ol' Pennsylvania

Man I have been feeling bad about my jeep. Poor jeep hasn't gotten to much use here in Delaware, with all the flat land and no trails. Last week was great! Went to Wife's home country near York Pa and dam even their "roads" are like trails here. We did find some pretty awesome trails too with great rock crawls and pot holes. The trails was apparently a road that they must just forget to regulate. Sawmill Rd in Brogue Pa was the best we found. It followed a flowing creek and was a little sketchy. Didn't need 4x4 because it was dry but man was it a blast. Totally impressed with the jeep and don't think we would have made it in anything else. Felt good to get it some use. Sorry no pics we forgot the camera.

That feeling is 50% your enjoyment and 50% the Jeep's enjoyment. Its important to feed both.

Another plus to the trip was the mpg. I was really hoping to see what it would be like on the highway. The trip up was an awful example, we had 20 mph wind coming at us the whole way and only got 17 mpg. The way back was calm and she rode great. Got 22 mpg and half the trip was in hill country. This whole Christmas trip was very reassuring.
