Good price for gears?

I was quoted 1750 for 5.13 gears and new Bearings and seals, plus all labor, is this a good deal?

It's on the high end but price can very as to what is a good deal and what isn't bassed on where you live.. So with that said.. I'd keep shopping around before you commit to where ever it is that quoted you that price

Also depends where you got the gears from, what brand, what ratio, etc

That's a little high, but about right. I'd say $1500 to $1800 is what I think of as typical. In addition to shopping around, I'd get them to identify exactly (brand, part number, etc.) what the parts are, so that you can ask them to price match on parts and figure out exactly what's being charged in labor. For a well done job with good parts, I wouldn't think somebody was crazy for paying $1750.

I'm in San Marcos. Haven't found decent prices in Austin or San Antonio, but willing to drive to Dallas or Houston for a good deal

I got mine installed for around $800 total (parts & labor). Ordered Yukons online and had a local shop in College Station install them.

There is a shop in Texas City which has agreed to do the labor for $300 an axle and that appears to be about half the going rate for labor only. I'm buying my Truetrac, gears, and install kits online for a very good price. PM me for details, as I'm not sure I can post the name of the business on here.
