Good problem to have.

I have read that some have leaking tops, wind noise etc.
We were lucky that our hard top is so tight, that it is hard to shut the doors with the windows rolled up.
We will probably never take the tops off, so it should stay leak proof for awhile. Also very little road noise.
Anyway, having trouble shutting the doors is a good thing.

At least take off the doors. Your Jeep is suffocating!

I'm with you mooney! I bought the hardtop this time after 10 years in a YJ, and 16 years in a TJ soft top with 1/2 doors and no AC. I loved doors off in the summer when we lived in Colorado, except for the nearly every afternoon thundershower they were subjected to.

I guess I've become an old guy and the AC feels real good at the 117 temps we get at our place here in Nevada, and I like being able to always hear the stereo. I now appreciate keeping the dust and rain out, and a comfortable environment in. Nothing wrong with going topless, but I guess gettin' old has made me want the creature comforts.

I have had the freedom panels off several times and have never had any leaks, and I run mine thru a carwash with lots of pressure beating down on the roof. My doors are still hard to close after nearly a year!

A softop in minus 30 degrees C is not for me but I have had the freedom panels off in the summer and I am looking forward to the summer already and to when I can take them off again.
