got my first jeep - any maintenance routines?

Just got my first jeep two weeks ago. It's a 2007 unlimited rubicon with 76k on it. This is my first real weekend off and I planned on spending some time on the jeep. What are some regular maintenance routines or what should I look for and fix/replace besides the oil?

P.s. This site is great and I'm glad to be a new member

Mopar recommends tranny and transfer case oil changes every 30k and diff fluid changes are every 30 or 50k. I can't remember. I would definately stick to the tranny oil changes and if you go through a lot of deep water do the Diffs too

Welcome. You're gonna love the whole Jeep thing (not just driving it). There are lots of more knowledgable people on this forum than I am who will tell you what you should do when.

Pretty simple, but since you asked-

At 78,000 mile the engine oil shoulda been changed-at least 12 times

Air filter shoulda been changed at least-twice

Auto tranny fluid shoulda been changed at least-once

Manual tranny fluid shoulda been changed at least-once

Xfer case fluid shoulda been changed if jeep was used off-road or lotta towing

Other than those--CHECK EVERYTHING ELSE !!

GOOD LUCK
