Got my new Wrangler

I ordered it just before Thanksgiving and it finally got here. It didn't burst into flames and it had enough power to get me all the way home....even uphill.

Ahh yes it appears all of our sillyness didn't have an impact and your Jeep arrived safe and sound. Congratulations and great color choice!

I don't have too many mods planned. Shipping large parts to Germany is difficult, plus I didn't ship any tools over so only small stuff fo a couple of years. That's the main reason I shelled out the extra cash for the Rubi.

Thanks. My wife told me I like it. Not too many Detonator Yellow JKUs around here, that's for sure!

Hi,

like that colour !

But in Germany offroading is mostly illegal. Here you need some camouflage...

Have a great day.

Cheers,
Guido

Let me get this straight....you can go balls out down a freeway in Germany but you can't bounce around the backroads over rocks and through mud? Very strange.

Actually not that many opportunities to go balls out down a freeway, either. Slow trucks make the right lane useless and slow cars going around the slow trucks keep you from maintaining any kind of speed in the other lanes. Then there's the construction......

Congrats, and great color! I'm more of a blues kind of guy, but the yellow does look sharp! Enjoy!

I wanted yellow, but the year I bought I bought is the only year the JKU didn't come in yellow. Looks good.

Hi,

like SheetsD66 said the high speed is sometimes more theoritical in Germany. But of course - besides the most frequently used streets - you find good opportunities to speed up whatever you like to drive.

A friend of mine has an older Porsche 911 and we are using east west freeways which are more empty. It's nice to drive 270 or 280 km/h...

But my own rigs drive between 170 and 188 km/h only...but everywhere.

Cheers,
Guido

P.S. Be careful with a motorbike...
