Got my tires!!!!

Just got my tires today. Next week I get my new gears (4.56) and hopefully the lift goes on the following weekend. I'm excited and none of my friends(damn non jeepers) care so I figured I'd show off the wheels and tires on here for now.

They look great & Congrats! Its a big expense, but so worth it. I bet you feel like a kid on Christmas...I know I did. I saved for over 2 years to do my lift, wheels, tires, etc...

Not sure what size the stock tires are but I'm going up to 35". Unfortunately I opened my box for my lift today and it just has shocks in it so I have to call quadratec Monday to figure out where they sent my lift since their website says it was shipped and delivered. Will definately be posting pics when finished, my fender flairs and bumpers should be in this week too (ordered them from Morris 4X4)

Looks great! And black on black good choice btw stock tire/wheel size is a 29" tire with a 16" rim. And make sure you give a thought to northridge4x4 as well, they are some great guys who always help out the members here.

Awesome thanks tab, I still plan to purchase a winch and rear lockers sometime in the future so I'll def check them out. Also want a new exhaust but gonna go with a local exhaust shop for that.

Are you sure? Banks makes the monster exhaust with a black tip looks good and sounds good.

Congrats on the wheels and tires. You said you were doing gears but holding off on the lockers. To save yourself some install money, you should do the lockers when you do the gears. I haven't done either, this info is just what I have learned from the great people on here.

So the banks monster exhaust sounds good on the 3.6? I'm just worried cause I don't wanna build the jeep up and then have it sound like a ricer.

Can we post videos on here? Never tried personally. And not even close to a ricer lol its quite up until about 2500 rpms and then opens right up. Sounds like a high output v6

Yeah it sounds awesome! For the first couple hundred miles it was I little high pitch but after it got broke in it really woke up and has a great growl and smooth note to it. (I do have the banks intake as well so that helps with the sound). My favorite part about the exhaust is it leaves the stock resonator in place so there is no highway drone.

Ill agree with that it was a little 350zish for the first couple hundred miles till the packing broke in lmao but thats any exhaust really. And leaving the resonator makes it perfect IMO

Nice. Congrats on the new wheels and tires.
I bet between everyone on the forum we could build a stadium out
of all the 16 inch steel wheels we all have sitting around.

hhmmmm I'm looking around but can't find the banks monster exhaust for the 2013 jeep. I found one on autoanything.com that is sorta confusing, it says it won't fit on a 2013 jeep wranger but then below that says it's a custom fit for the 2013. I'll have to keep looking around and see what I can find. I suppose if all else fails the exhaust shop down the road could order me one.

Which tires, lift, and gears? It will certainly make you feel way higher. Skip the exhaust if possible...please. Which bumper are you going with? I did AEV all the way around. I got the Zeon 8 winch (syn line) since I have a 2 door and it is more than enough. I am also running MTR Kevlar 35s- very stiff sidewall and a fantastic tire off pavement- not bad on pavement either. I sometimes wish it were softer (running 24 PSI) but I do like the tough sidewall off-road so can't complain too much. Your Jeep will look and feel great after all this.

Try shooting Jason at KOR an email or PM that's what I did and he gave me a great price on the system.

I've got a 3" teraflex lift, 35" Toyo M/T's, LoD midwidth front bumper w/skid plate and winch guard(might not put the winch guard till I get a winch if it bolts onto the bumper), bushwacker flat style fender flares, and a Body armor rear bumper w/ swing arm tire carrier. Also got my gears in the mail today, going with 4.56.

Also not sure what KOR is but as soon as I find out I will be looking. I found a video on youtube of someone just revving with the banks monster system and I thought it sounded pretty good, though I'm thinking it was the 3.8, and all the customer reviews i've seen recommend it as a purchase so I'm thinking it might be my next purchase, though with all the stuff I'm about to do to the jeep I should probably take a break from spending money on it (I probably wont though)

That's the same rear bumper and tire swing I put on. I am extremely happy with it.

KOR = Krawl-offroad. There a forum vender and Jason is awesome to work with. I don't know if the exhaust is on their site or not but he can get it.

KrawlOff-Road.com

I know his email is on the site and he has always been really good at speedy replies when I email him.

Awesome thanks again everyone, I will definitely be hitting him up but probably not real soon since I've dumped alot of money into the jeep in the last couple of weeks. Really though I give myself a week before I give in and will be looking to order.
