When I upgraded my wheels and tires on my 2015 JKUHR I installed new Mopar TPMS sensors from Amazon (links below). I wanted to sell the original wheels and tires as factory balanced with TPMS installed. Ordinarily that would be costly at about $50 to $80 EACH. However, you can buy a 4 pack of them for $42 and individually for $17. I purchased ALL FIVE for about the cost of 1 at most other places. I can confirm that they installed and synced up automatically to my 2015 JKUHR without a hitch. I've been using them for about 2 months without an issue.

Mopar TPMS 4-pack ($42 as of 11/9/14):

***NOTE*** The product description is somewhat confusing as to whether this price is for 1 TPMS or 4 TPMS. Rest assured, you get 4 TPMS for this price. If there is a problem, amazon provides easy no hassle, no-cost returns.

Mopar TPMS 1-pack ($17 as of 11/9/14):

I don't know if these are official mopar ones or not, they are the same part number, but I ordered them and they work on our '14. It connected and is reading the tire pressures. I do have an issue where the evic is not reading the right tire in the right spot, but I don't think that's an issue with the tpms and somehow I need to get the jeep to relearn the positions. Maybe I just need to drive around more or I need to air the tires up more.

Thanks very much for posting this info. I want studded tires for my 2015 Willys and had determined that the mopar part number for the 2014 - which I did locate at a great price - was not the same as the mopar part number for the 2015 sensors, which I had not found at a good price. Your info saved me a bundle by demonstrating that the 2014 model works in the 2015 (at least the photo looks like the 2014 model). In any event, thanks thanks thanks for sharing. Ordered them, and now only awaiting my sensors to assemble the parts to my winter tires.

Yep. That's right. But, you get 4. That's why I said in my first post that the description is confusing. If you go back and read the Amazon page again you will find under "About this Item" where it says "Description
Set of Four (4) Tire Pressure Sensors (TMPS)". I have been looking at that page for months. It has always said one sensor in one place and four sensors in another. I ordered. I got 4. If you read the consumer questions and reviews you will find that you get four. No need to be scared off by the description. As I stated in my first post Amazon offers no hassle no charge returns if there is a problem. You just say you are returning for inaccurate description and you return with free shipping and 100% refund. No sense in the description scaring anyone from a good deal.

Purchased. Thanks.

I better get 4! ;)

Update: went ahead and rolled the dice for #5, as well.

Uh oh. I hope you do, lol. :tomatoes:

As an avid amazon shopper for several years now, I should also mention, you should realize that different "sellers" sell products on Amazon. Not all products on Amazon are sold by Amazon. Some products are SOLD by a different seller but still FULFILLED by Amazon. Other products on the Amazon website are sold and fulfilled by a different business all together. Notice in the pic above under "In Stock." This product is sold by a different company "USAutomotiveParts" and fulfilled by "Amazon." The important thing is that the product is FULFILLED by Amazon. As long as Amazon is fulfilling the product you can always return the product without a hassle, without any return shipping fees, and 100% full refund as long as you select something like "different than website description" in the return process.

By the way, I just checked my amazon account and my order was sold by "USAutomotiveParts" and fulfilled by "Amazon." I recommend anyone ordering to try to buy from that same seller.

Stealle

I did the same as you, looking to sell my Factory Wheels/tires as a complete set.
I ordered my set of 5 Jeep OEM TPMS off of Ebay for $54 with shipping. Had Discount tire program to my jeep, haven't had an issue in the past 2 weeks, although the EVIC reads higher then what I gauge each tire manually to be.
IE. the EVIC reads 38 but when checking with a tire gauge it reads 35 psi -- weird !!!!

Well, I can't speak for the Ebay TPMS, but mine from Amazon seem to be right on... maybe +/- 1psi but I think that is acceptable. The problem could be your tire gauge.

As I mentioned in the post above, I am an avid Amazon shopper, lol. I purchased this digital craftsman tire pressure gauge. It's a little pricey, but it gets rave reviews. I find it to be very accurate and I like the pressure release button. As you are checking pressure you can press a little button to deflate. When you release the button it rereads the pressure. The led light on the end and backlit LED display is very handy too for checking pressure at night. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00443ZNOM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Stealle's guidance is golden.

I received 5 complete TPMS sensors for less than $60.

Superb deal.

Thanks!

Sweet! Glad I could help.

I bookmarked this for when I upgrade the tires and wheels on my 15 JKUR. If you're like me and you have tires and wheels shipped to your house, and have them mounted and balanced at a tire shop, this is a good deal. For what it would cost to have the old tires and wheels removed just to put the sensors in the new wheels, you could just buy these. My plan, is to keep my stock wheels and tires in case I ever want to sell the Jeep. I can just remove the lift and tires and make it stock again and sell the lift and tires separately.

They are even cheaper now. I have a 2015 JKU, and I'm about to pull the trigger on these. One question though will my procal allow me to lower the pressure threshold? so the light doesnt come on?

#19 ·
I have the procal. Yes you can program so the light comes on at whatever psi you want. I think I set mine for 26 psi. I run my tires at about 30-32 psi.

#22 ·
Literally just purchased the ones the OP put links to my total came to $53 bucks if these things work without any issues that over a $230 SAVINGS!

#24 ·
Also, you do understand the sensors just report the tire psi reading to the Jeeps computer. The Jeeps computer must be programmed with a device such as the procal to change the psi warning threshold.

#25 ·
Yeah i got my procal in the mail yesterday and was reading about it as i was asking questions on here. I noticed them have a high/low ranger for each desired threshold. it's really amazing how some sited can charge $55 for one when i got all 5 for less then that. It amazes me.

Those are a steal, stealle! I am glad you posted this. I just purchased new wheels and tires and would have been charged $50 for the sensor swap. And I plan on selling my old wheels/tires so it will help having the complete package.

Plus I just got a $50 Amazon GC so I spent a whole $12 for five sensors and 2 day shipping.

Good find!

Just as a note, I just ordered from the linked item on Amazon, and got 1 and only 1 tire pressure sensor. The seller in this case is "WMS", which is different from what some people mentioned...

When I was going to file my complaint, I found another item that actually says set of 4 in the description, that is sold by US Automotive. I went ahead and placed an order for: this set

#31 ·
Yeah. It's often best to read the entire thread so you get all the info. I mentioned in post #12, I bought them sold from USAutomotiveParts and fulfilled by Amazon.

Sounds like the best deal right now might be the link found in post #21.

#33 ·
Now they are like 80 bucks:(

#37 ·
I did this about 10 months ago, ordered off Amazon ( though not quite as inexpensive as the ones you show) , and they worked great until recently. Now two of them are reading about 4-5 psi low intermittently, compared to a high-quality gauge reading . Setting off TPMS alarm. Pretty sure they were OEM, so it probably could've happened with stock as well. I am going to order another set off Amazon and replace.
