About to order HH for the customer service alone. Mark has been emailing me back and forth tonight which is Sunday. I promise Mopar wouldn't answer my questions between business hours like this.

Go for it! Let us know how the HH perform for you. All these products are new enough that there's no established leader, to my knowledge. Competition is good for the market place and thus the consumer.
I think MOPAR was late to the game, probably riding on the early developers work plus finally responding to the need.
They will probably be an option one day maybe even standard on the high end models - makes them a bit more refined. We can always pull the fancy hardtop off for the wilder ride - the beauty of versatility - unmatched in the industry.
For now, we "Sport" owners will have to add on headliners just like we do the cabin air filters.

I have followed the liner threads since day one and I don't recall seeing a good description of the finish of either liner. Are they covered in fabric (smooth or textured) or painted (smooth or textured)?

The Mopar liners are covered in what looks like a tight loop carpet. The edges are stitched/wrapped with thread. They look very professional once installed.

Are these a stock item now or back-ordered?
