We have this one:

Rugged Ridge 11401.31 Gloss Black Mesh Grille Insert Screen for Jeep Wrangler JK : : Automotive

Had to make a little room for the screw heads on top, but it was easy. On Wednesday I rattle canned it sail blue to match the spiderweb shade. I posted pictures/how I did it in the 'What Did You Do to Your JK Today?' thread that night.

There is everything from DIY screen that you can get for $10 to the best and most expensive which is the Metalcrafters. I went with the Metalcrafters SS black powdercoated 3 yrs. ago. The fit is perfect, no plastic ties to break or rot and it still looks like the day it was installed. And, being stainless steel there's no rust. The mesh is also formed to fit the grill vents, which is perfect. Ultimately, you get the quality you pay for. I wanted to do the install once without worrying about repairs.

I'm fine with buying over building for a lot of things, but this one area where building has worked out very well. I used the common method of plastic gutter guard and the zip tie/blocks with excellent results. I left the adhesive pads on the blocks and cleaned the area with alcohol rubs, then added gorilla glue around the edges of the blocks. 3 intense summers later and not a single issue or sagging.
