Grille guard/light bar for AEV front bumper

I'm looking for a grille guard that can be fairly easily attached to the AEV front bumper. I know they have the brackets and I do not want to "upgrade" to their premium bumper to get the guard. My searches here and net has been fruitless. Thanks.

There is nothing that bolts on directly that I am aware of for the AEV/MW3/Moab bumper.

However, there are several add on types that might fit with some modifications.

The one that I was looking at to mod is from MBRP, it bolts from underneath. I believe a little grinder action and the AEV rattle can paint will make it work fine.

I think there are several that bolt from the top like Rugged Ridge. However, I think the top bolt type will need to have the base plates cut off, modified and rewelded to fit the stamped bumper as they are designed for a flat mounting area.

I keep trying to go to 4WP here local to see what they have that might work out.

I want to do the same thing and didn't want the AEV with the bull bar as I like the bar to not be vertical or curl back, but stick out a little (not like a stinger, just a little forward lean) personal tastes. I understand that AEV and ARB do the vertical style for international markets.

Check out the above thread near bottom of page, looks pretty good and easy solution. It's on my To Do List.

Looks like the Rugged Ridge setup I mentioned, nice that it works easier then I thought, cheap too...

Looking at the pictures if the mounting is close to the frame rails it is flat enough to work without any major mods. Nice. No light mounts tho, bummer. might be other options that will work too, need to look around, not a huge fan of the RR.

Yeah, noticed no light mounts as well which is a must for me. May just get the brackets for now.
