Grille Removal

I had an extra grill which I had line-x applied. Can't remove the old one due to my winch being in the way. The bottom center plug on grille plus clip on either side of center just don't have quite enough room to pull all way out. Removed skid plate to loosen up bolts on winch mounting plate in order to slide it forward but can't get the 2 forward ones broken loose. Hardly any room in there with this 10A bumper and my big hands. Had to use closed in racheting wrench to do anything. I was wondering, if I ever get mounting plate loosened, if I could just clip the offending parts off in order to remove and replace grile more often. Anyone done this? Wonder if the bottom of the grille would flap any?
