"halo" headlights for JKU

Lets get this out of the way...before anyone asks: "why"?
The answer is: "Because I want to."
Before anyone points out the bajillion threads on headlights and reminds us all that the ceebee reflector is the best and there are other better options.
The answer is: "Because I want to."
Before anyone points out that THEY think that my plan is useless, ugly, ill-conceived, or un-jeeplike.
The answer is: "Because I want to."
Before anyone says its illegal.
The answer is: "not where I am"

Ok, now that we have cut through the usual replies from others who want to interject on something other than the question at hand and can hopefully focus on the issue at hand - - - -

I'm looking at the idea of replacing my factory healights with a pair of headlights with WHITE "halo" bling-rings (also called "angel-eyes" by some manufacturers"....again...BECUSE I WANT TO.

I've been contemplating a variety of Daytime RUnning Light solutions, I know that DRL already exist and can be "turned on" with a programmer. But I'd rather not burn any of the lights that are currently options for DRL.

At the same time, I've been looking at options forreplacing my existing reflectors with upgraded aftermarket reflectors that can also accommodate the upgraded H4 bulbs.

Which brings to mind...the Halo lights. I can use the white halo-ring as my DRL and the reflector can mount my H4 +80 bulbs and I'd get more usable light than the factory. Not the ultimate.... bestest light ever....but it seems like a good option to explore.

so now we FINALLY get to the question....
Does anyone know if there is a circuit I can tap into which will only activate the DRL when the vehicle is in gear?

Yeah, I know, that is standard DRL behavior...on only when in gear. But as I said, I dont want the headlights, fog lights, parking lights on in order to have the DRL on. All I want is my WHITE Halo rings on as DRL...when in gear and the rest of my lighting working as it already does.

Any thoughts?

The question is NOT:
"what are all of the other possibilities other than the question that I asked."

Not trying to be an ass. Just trying to keep ONE thread on-target.
(futile, I know...but cant fault me for trying....heheheh)

Neutral safety switch maybe, why only when in gear? Drl use the same lights your headlights do, you could wire up an led on a switch
