Hard top add on question

I bought my 12JKU last month and it came only as a soft top. I ordered the hard top at the time of purchase so it would be covered under the full warantee. My question is, does anyone know if the defrost harness as well as the wiper fluid connector is already in the Jeep or does it come with the hard top?

As my understanding, all Jeeps produced are already fitted with the necessary harnesses and connectors. They are just tucked away. But the dealership could verify this if you call them.

I could be wrong but I think if you got a soft top only you don't have the wiring for a hard top. And vise versa if you get the hard top only then you don't have the brackets for a soft top.

Check the base of the roll bar on the drivers side. You should find a small removable cutout; open that and the wiring harness will be tucked in there (assuming that you have it).

Just purchased my 2012 and it too came with a soft top; I too worked a hard top into the deal. It did not come with wiring harness or washer fluid tube. The dealer installed these and also had to replace the wiper stem on the steering column because it did not have the control for the rear wiper. No big deal and my dealer ordered the parts and took care of this in a couple hours at their service facility.
