Will a 2011 JK Unlimited Freedom top fit a 2008 JK?

Yes it will. I don't believe that anything changed on the body of the Jeep that would prevent it from fitting. I sold my 2010 hardtop to a guy with a 2011 jeep. It fit fine.

It fits, but not without a little modification from what I hear. The wiring harness is different and the brackets for attaching to the windshield are in different locations.

Hmm, well the guy I sold mine to didn't care about the wiring so that wasn't an issue. As far as the two latches that attach to the windshield being misaligned, I didn't see a difference between the 2010 and 2011, it fit perfectly.

Yes it fits. I currently own a 2011 hard top for my 2008 jeep. The 2011 has 2 pins on each side of the rear part of the hard top to get it in the right spot but you only have 1 hole for it. All you do is take an Allen wrench and take off the back pin and it fits perfect. The header brackets are in the same spot and fit perfect. The 2011 is much tighter than the 2008 model because they wanted to make sure there would be no leaks. Yes the wiring harness is a little different but the 2011 kit will mount in your 2008 jeep so that's not a big deal either. Or just don't wire it. If you can get the 2011 instead of a 2008 top I would. The bigger window is nice and it actually does make a difference

They align perfect in my jeep. I wish I had a pic but I don't have the hardtop on
