Hard Top Storage

I just got my Wrangler Sahara JK a week ago today and was wondering if the way I'm storing the hardtop is going to damage it. I have it standing up vertically with the front of it to the ground, the rear window is in the air. I have it on moving pads but I am worried that this going to damage it. I don't want the weight of it to damage the seals for when I go to put it back on the the fall. Does anyone store it like this? Am I just paranoid? I'm thinking about getting a stand but until I do I have to store it somehow.

I got this and really like it. With the cover it protects the top well and doesn't take up much space in my garage.

We looked at the bestop hoss, looks awesome from a storage standpoint. How easy is it to get the top on and off of the jeep using this contraption on the back?

Simple. It actually gives you something to hold onto.

I stored mine very similar to what you are doing right now. Had it sitting on it's front for over a year with ZERO problems when I put it back on. I would just ensure there is sufficient padding between the top and the floor.

Regards,
