Hardtop fastener

Over the course of the summer I lost 2 of these nut fasteners for the hard top. The dealer wants $15 for each one and Amazon has them for $7 each plus another $10 in shipping. Doesn't anyone have a few extra laying around or know where I can pick up two at a reasonable price?

Just grab a nut and washer of the correct size.

I kind of like how these distribute the pressure to prevent cracking.

The back 2 always come off when I pull my hard top. I throw them in the little cubby where the jack is, next to where the bolts are stored. Mine still cracked a little. I need to put bigger washers on the hard top side of the bolts.

Sure you lost them? I found one of mine under the front seats and the other in carpet seam. Those suckers really move around.

Add a piece of wood into the mix. These things aren't supposed to be torqued much more than finger tight. You wanted cheaper than 15 bucks. 15 bucks is pretty damn cheap if you ask me.

Never tried with the Jk and recently sold my hard top. I used to clamp my Tj's top down with small c-clamps. Worked awesome
