Has anybody done this before...

Hi I have a 2012 4 door sport ..it has like a 3 inch spring lift kit...I was woundering if a person can add a 1.50 or a 2 inch spacer on top of spring to get it lifted higher...Thank you

Yup.

Edumecate your self on drive line angles and what can occur when adding higher lift if you haven't already done so.

Yup, once you start to creep above 3" you need to worry about more things. a 4.5" lift will usually replace drive shaft and relocate stuff to keep things lined up right. Also, I've read the EDIT: (Brake Lines) may need to be extended so they don't rip out when you're at max articulation.

About the brake lines.... I'm guessing his kit he has currently on accounted for that with how much his shocks can extend. He may be getting more height but not more down travel without longer shocks.

yes you can, should you? if you have to ask, probably not. no offense, but it starts getting very expensive and time consuming once you get past 4 or so. you gotta fill those holes with bigger tires, hold those tires up with beefed up axles, fix driveline issues, etc
