A few minor mods needed for proper install, however for the price, the quality and tech support of the Paramount Restyling bumper is Very Good. I do recommend this bumper and pricing from Chris @ jeepaddons.com @ ext. # 1884. Also their Customer Service @ jeepaddons.com (Susan) is Fantastic !!!

Okay, old post I know, but I've been considering the same bumper. Is it compatible with the stock fog lamps? It doesn't look like the Smitty XRC are.

The outer ones are good. Inner ones I am on my second set because I don't think they are very weather proof. Went thru a water crossing and the left started to flicker.

They are doing well. I am changing them out soon because I need a full blown rock crawler bumper but they have been good and for the price they can't be beat.

I have both the front and rear paramount bumpers. Beat the shit out of them off rocks, trees, the ground, you name it. Lost some paint, big deal. Sanded em down and bed lined em. Good as new. They're pretty damn tough for being so cheap. I'd buy them again.

Thanks. I guess that was covered under warranty, or is there a replacement kit out there?

Are the outer ones attached to the fog lamp controls?

Yeah they were under warranty. They are both connected to the fog light controls. Just spliced in together.

My only concern is the light LED's too. What happens if Paramount Restyling is no longer in business, can other LED lights fit in the slots? Can brighter LEDs be installed?

I looked at these and considered them. But im going with the barricade on the extremeterrain.com because its not that much more, there is customer reviews with their pics installed. It just seems like a better option.

Ebays such a strange place to order from. You can get some really good deals, but you can also get completley ripped off. Ive had much better sucess with amazon or a legit website like extreme terrain

Which is why we're lucky that forum sponsor jeepaddons.com is offering the same Paramount Restyling bumper Eautogrilles is selling for a better price, and with a warranty.

I agree about ebay, but if you look hard enough, there is a "legit" website usually offering the same thing for the same price (or better).

I believe he is not offering them at this time. I guess it was something about customer service and warranty service with the vendor. They are even pulled from his website.

Thanks, I didn't know that! I do know Carid.com also sells them, but I talked to Chris a lot about pricing, quality, etc.

That is correct. We are no longer offering the line. It's unfortunate because it was a good price point and for the most part, pretty good products. Recently however, if things weren't right, we couldn't provide the quality of service that I expect to be able to give to our customers. That hurt my company's reputation and mine as well. I cannot continue to support that line in good faith.

Chris, that's a shame. I'm enjoying my bumpers I purchased from you. As well as my boss who purchased his bumpers from you. We've had no issues with the paramount bumpers.
