Just wondering if you have purchased the e-auto grille bumpers and tire carrier, how it has been holding up. There has been some discussion on other forums about a year ago, but nothing lately on how they have been. The bumpers are $ 779.00 at this time for the front, rear, winch plate and tire carrier. Any remarks would be helpful. Thanks.
You can do a search on the forum, I think they are mentioned here and there, but no dedicated thread. There is one on another forum that is pretty long, and current.
From what I gleaned on the thread from another forum, e autogrilles is just a distributor. The manufacturer is "Paramount Restyling". The ones on ebay sold through e autogrilles are factory 2nds. Reviews are overall positive, but there are some issues, from chipped finishes to crappy welds.
Forum member jeepaddons apparently sells them for comparable prices, but they aren't factory 2nds and come with warranties.

That's the bad thing about the ebay ones. They may or may not be first run quality. The ones we offer from Paramount Offroad come with a full three year warranty on both powdercoat AND worksmanship. If either happened with one sold from us, you'd be taken care of. Unfortunately that's not true through ebay because eauto is rebranding the bumpers and since some are factory seconds, they're not covered under warranty.
Good to hear! As payback, we expect pics and a review!
What style did you get, and what was the price? I may be looking into the Aries-style bumper once I take delivery (although I don't see that one on the jeepaddons website)

Those look cool and i do like that you can use the stock carrier. I am bit nervous about a swing out because i have a 14 year old and i just know he will forget and slam the tailgate into the tire......but i also love the look with the extra LED's. How was the fit and mounting with yours?
Man can't wait to pull the trigger on one of these seems worth it just to see the quality. Will be for sure putting probably two cans of bed liner on it at least though
Ok, Got a question. When I go to install the New REAR Bumper will I need to Remove the Factory tire carrier from the rear tailgate door ? I would think that the 3rd brake light and spare tire carrier will need removed and plugged. What is the proper install for the 3rd brake light to be reassembled ? I'm Not sure if the 3rd brake light will then need to be relocated to the the new tire carrier by a quick connect plug so that the new tire carrier can be opened to provide access to the tailgate being opened ? OR, Maybe the new tire carrier will just reposition up to the tailgate door with OE tire carrier still installed ? Thanks.
How can i get in touch with Chris? I sent him a PM on here but got no response. Also, I ordered a front bumper from E AutoGrilles and was sent the wrong bumper. They wont get back in touch with me and ebay said they will refund my full amount if i will send the bumper back, but i am getting no response from E Auto for confirmation. I have een that this is happening to a few people right now from e auto and i suspect we are all ordering the same bumper. Maybe they are out of them and are just sending a different, ugly bumper instead just to see if anyone will let it slide. Just my .02
Also, forgot to mention that ebay is saying i will have to cover the return shipping which i'm sure will be around $100 since it is 91 pounds. Dosnt seem fair that i should have to eat $100 on shipping because of their screw up
I called earlier, but Scott was out today and is supposed to be in tomorrow. Really looking forward to seeing the cost of what I want is, then ordering it up! Mama needs some new bumpers!
Placed my order today. Scott was awesome. Not sure why anyone would order through Ebay with all of the customer support complaints. Seriously, order from Chris' shop!!
I picked up a front bumper from e-auto grills on eBay. It looks almost identical to the smittybilt XRC and I paid $335 for it. I was pleased over all with it. It is true the the light tabs were not level. However as soon as I put winch in I will be relocating ridge industries lights with their weld on tabs and cutting of the tabs that came with the bumper.

Agree with the last couple of posts. I just talked to Scott and got pricing on a couple of front bumpers. Great prices and seems like a good guy to work with. Now I just need to choose one and pull the trigger. Much more comfortable dealing with a person than eBay.
A few minor mods needed for proper install, however for the price, the quality and tech support of the Paramount Restyling bumper is Very Good. I do recommend this bumper and pricing from Chris @ jeepaddons.com @ ext. # 1884. Also their Customer Service @ jeepaddons.com (Susan) is Fantastic !!!
They are doing well. I am changing them out soon because I need a full blown rock crawler bumper but they have been good and for the price they can't be beat.
I have both the front and rear paramount bumpers. Beat the shit out of them off rocks, trees, the ground, you name it. Lost some paint, big deal. Sanded em down and bed lined em. Good as new. They're pretty damn tough for being so cheap. I'd buy them again.
My only concern is the light LED's too. What happens if Paramount Restyling is no longer in business, can other LED lights fit in the slots? Can brighter LEDs be installed?
I looked at these and considered them. But im going with the barricade on the extremeterrain.com because its not that much more, there is customer reviews with their pics installed. It just seems like a better option.
Ebays such a strange place to order from. You can get some really good deals, but you can also get completley ripped off. Ive had much better sucess with amazon or a legit website like extreme terrain
Which is why we're lucky that forum sponsor jeepaddons.com is offering the same Paramount Restyling bumper Eautogrilles is selling for a better price, and with a warranty.
I agree about ebay, but if you look hard enough, there is a "legit" website usually offering the same thing for the same price (or better).
That is correct. We are no longer offering the line. It's unfortunate because it was a good price point and for the most part, pretty good products. Recently however, if things weren't right, we couldn't provide the quality of service that I expect to be able to give to our customers. That hurt my company's reputation and mine as well. I cannot continue to support that line in good faith.
Chris, that's a shame. I'm enjoying my bumpers I purchased from you. As well as my boss who purchased his bumpers from you. We've had no issues with the paramount bumpers.
