I was at a dealership where they let some idiot drive a call of duty and he wrapped it around a pole.

Pretty logical to think that someone somewhere since July has been involved in an accident in a new KJ.

Wait, isn't a force field standard on the 2012. I just assumed with the new Jesus engine.

Wow, thanks for the link. I suppose if anything it helps give us some faith in the "sport bars" or roll cage. While the front ends of some of those are smashed and the roll-overs are pretty obvious, it appears the cabin was for the most part protected and people likely walked away in most cases (if they were wearing their seatbelt). Also, as most would suspect, the weakest structural part of the cabin is the windshield, although many had creases from the rollover, not many seemed to actually fail. What really made me cringe were the burned out ones on page 2. Holy crap.

Rollbar is definitely the strongest part of the vehicle. I rolled down a 300ft cliff at night in a JKU and flipped 5-6 times and walked away from it with just dirt in my eye and a small laceration on my forehead.

Why does every question need to have a point? :wavy:

Mine got smashed and I've been without it for almost two months due to parts availability (or lack thereof)

Just wondering if anyone else with a 2012 was in the same boat.

Almost T-boned a nissan maxima preforming U-turn directly in font of me today. I came about three feet from hitting the car... I am pretty sure the person will not be forgetting the Jeep emblem on front grill of my jeep.
My JKU-R and the my stock Rubicon tires held well in the wet pavement.
Thank God nothing happen...

Wife backed in to a small economy car of some type--little bigger than a go-kart. Crushed the front fender like a tin can. Only left a small scuff on the plastic part of the rear bumper of the Jeep...go figure. Wife got too used to the backup camera and sensors on her previous vehicle.
