Has anyone heard of the MOAB edition JK?

Whilst doing my price/availability checking for a 2012 JK Unlimited, I came across a dealer that had what they called a MOAB edition.

Link: 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport 4WD - Cars For Sale Mountain Home, ID

The salesman said something to the effect that they are one of the few dealers that can sell said type edition. Blah blah blah. And they are supposed to do the same thing as a Rubicon, sway bar disconnects, etc.

Never heard of this package, even on the Jeep.com site.

On a more searchful note...

I'm having to toughest time finding a silver Rubicon (my preference). But I must say, I DO like this red. Link: 2012 Jeep Wrangler - Cars For Sale Mountain Home, ID

Anywho, thought I would throw out the question.

Could be a dealer specific thing..... like Larry Miller, here in Utah, offers the Canyonlands package.....

Looking at the VIN for the black jeep in ID, it is NOT a Rubicon. The mods are a package that have been installed by the dealer. It you like the setup judge based on that, but this is not a Chrysler factory package. It's a stock Jeep that the dealer has added the mods on.

Looking at the specs below it, its been upgraded to 3.73 diff ratios with 35's, should have gone at least to 4.1's. And a 6 in lift?? A little over the top with short arms.

Yea, my dealer has a Renegade dealer edition. The lettering is in flat black. Actually like the flat black lettering on black. Considering it on my Charcoal

I had a silver Wrangler already, so I obviously like silver, but if that Red Rubi has what you want, get it. I like it, it looks nice! (but I like all the Jeep colors).

Nitto trail grapplers with XD Hoss wheels. Hows that an eBay combo. Both are proven companies in the off road world. Yeah its not a MB and Duratrac combo. But not everyone likes those. I think that jeeps looks pretty sweet. Liking the stealth look of it. Considering the same style on mine.

ESP's comment I think was really directed toward the weight of Nittos. They can be quite heavy. But some folks love'em. Nothing wrong with that.

I often wondered the same thing, I have seen 3 or 4 here with Moab on the hood & don't know if it was just a bought sticker or if it's an actual package

Link to Moab

Moab Industries | Custom Conversions

Just an aftermarket company, for Dealers. I'd be most concerned about the axles. Dana 44 like the Rubi? If not, good luck in the rocks.
