Has anyone leased their new 2012 JK?

So after waiting exactly 1 month for my 2012 Jk, from built to delivery, looks as thought the wait doesn't cease.

I planned on leasing it and I was told 2 days ago, and up to today, by my dealer that the banks dont have residuals or rates for a 2012 yet.
They think they'll be the same as 2011, but can't move forward till the bank releases these rates.

They said the banks have been inundated with calls regarding this topic, but do not have the figures yet.

Financing is the only option at the moment, but leasing plain works better for my personal situation.

They told me that they finally got an answer from the banks and said that Sept. 6th would be the date the release the new numbers. Makes sense...I guess.

So, it seems another 3 weeks till I get to take delivery...

My question is: Has anyone been able to lease their 2012? Are these guys telling me the truth?

Thanks for pointing that out, and apologize for the duplicate thread.

I literally posted 5 minutes after getting off the phone with my salesperson.
Bummed I don't get to take delivery of it this weekend in time for my road trip Monday. Guess we'll have to take the wife's car...

Just busting your stones man--and also in fact pointing you to someone similarly situated. Double/similar posting isn't a crime. Hope it works out.
