I mistakenly overfilled about a quart.. first time in my life i had done this.. at 16000 miles. drove for about 1000 miles before checking oil and noticed it was over filled. i drained it back ot safe level should i be worried?

No, not in a Jeep. If you did it in a sports car, you can actually hydrolock your motor with oil (I've seen it happen) but in a Jeep you'll be fine.

As per my experience if you notice a white smoke from your exhaust at the time it's over filled then it effect the spark plugs performance and it's better to Change the spark plugs.
