has anyone ran just the 1'' pucks in the front only?

I hated the factory raked look. looked like a soccer mom's mini van.

I purchased the Teraflex leveling kit and installed the whole thing.

36" from fender to ground front before, 37" from fender to ground on the rear before.

Now I am sitting 38" at all 4 corners.

After looking at it today some more (just did it last night) I think it's sitting too high. the tires look really small now. it only has 1000 miles on it. I am not going to purchase a thousand dollars worth of tires to make this leveling kit look right in my eyes. Especially after dropping $32,000 2 weeks ago on the purchase of the vehicle.

has anyone, ran just the 1" teraflex pucks in the front and done nothing with the rear?

If so, do you still need to run the teraflex sway bar links?

anyone have pictures of this set-up?

Typically, these spacers are used for when you have a heavy bull bar on front.. or as they say "leveling" or "comfort ride" system.

We didn't do the Flex 1'' boost system, but we did the Daystar 3/4 boost on the 99.. thou we are considering the 1'' now on the 08.. anything less wouldn't be worth it. There is a point were one would reach a level were one needs to have links etc added.. and your right at the minimum.. Your at the 1'' - 1 1/2 range limit.. anything above that.. you'll need the linkage. Sort of like anything less the 3/4 inch isn't worth it..

As for the tires.. you'll just have to grin and bare it.. until you get some bigger tires.. Granted out Mud Terrains have a higher stance which makes and lifts the jeep higher without a lift kit or budge boost.. so what tires are you deciding to get later on?

Find someones take off Rubicon tires on Craigslist for cheap, if you are using the 16" Sport kicks.

I don't plan on tires until they wear out to be honest.

I have the 1inch rear and the 2inch front installed right now, it would look great with bigger tires.

I am thinking about pulling the rear and pulling out 1 of the spacers in the front.

that is what I am asking I guess, if anyone has done that and if they have pics.

I am going to do this on my daughters '08 JKU. It's got a visible rake to it.

It's got a #16 springs which I think are sagging. I have a set of new #17 springs (off an Artic) and ordered 4 - 3/4" daystar pucks. I am going to put the #17s and the puck on hers which should bump it up about ~ 1.25" or so.
That should get rid of most of the visible rake.

The other two 3/4' pucks are going atop my rear JKUR 2.5" Teraflex lift that only netted 1.25" in the rear. That'll take it up to about 2" and will offset the height lost when I add a muffler skid to it.

Good question,

I have a 12 Rubi I just purchased Saturday and was pricing new tires and rims for replacement and in doing so realized the price of the MT that came on my Rubi. If the factory (tires only are $200 each x 5 = $1000 plus 5 rims at $$?????)
So very good question for me as well on what I should expect to get out of them.

Certainly no problem in going with just the 1" spacer up front. You might want to check with Teraflex and see what they recommend in regards to the new end links that came with your kit. I would think that the new links would be a bit too long to keep the sway bar where it needs to be if you only ran the 1" spacer, so you would probably want to go back to the stock end links. But Teraflex would be who I would ask about that.

However, I think your ride looks just fine with the whole leveling kit installed. I ran with my leveling kit and stock wheels/tires for many months and didn't mind the look at all. Plus, it gives you a little more flexing room when you get it offroad!

it only took me a little over an hour to get this whole kit on, tonight I am going to ditch the rear and ditch 2 of the pucks in the front and put the stock end links back on and see what she looks like.

Honestly, I don't think it looks atrocious to the point that you need to change anything. Maybe consider coloring the wheels black to make the space appear larger.

Another vote for leave it looks great.

I ran the two front pucks on mine for a while but when I loaded the back with kids, dogs, and all their boogers, it was too low in the rear. I added the rear and like it now.

Basically you can run what you want. One in front, two, whatever. I think if you run one in the front, then the stock links should be okay.

FYI, two in the front and none in the rear had the old school CJ5 look IMHO.

Have fun, it's like a hairdo, all about the look.

I ran a 1" teraflex up front on 19/60 coils for a year mainly because I added a heavy front bumper and winch

Id like to level the thing, but not majorly, just enough to, well...level it.
Not lift, level.

Did you need to add the links to yours with the 1"? Or were no mods needed to the stock set-up?

Install them, look to see the position of the sway bar itself. I believe the front is supposed to be parallel to the ground.

My TF 2.5 kit and some others relocate the stock rear links to the front. New longer links are supplied for the rear.

Of coarse if you want quick disco's it doesn't matter. They also make adjustable links.

running 1" pucks on the front because of adding a winch and heavier bumper. Brought it back to more of a factory rake. '12 rubicon 4door Your jeep looks fine... don't be too critical until you have time to absorb it. My guess is 6 months from now, you will be looking at an entirely different mod, or you will be just fine with what you have

I did.

Saying that, I did the stock stiffer 19/60 coils and I added the Teraflex 1" spacer up front. It actually worked out quiet well and took out the rake pretty good. I ran that setup for a year with no issues before getting a 3" lift
