Hey guys, I was just on Instagram and came across a jeep with these tail lights and they peaked my interest as I'm looking for new ones to replace stock. It's an Australian brand I believe. They look pretty sweet. Here's a link. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks
Yea, they're definitely my favorites, hence why I decided to get them for my rig. Unlike anything I've seen. I'll definitely post some pics and review once I get them.
Look cool....Not that we care here...but are they US DOT approved? I guess if you get rear ended and the person at fault tries to say your taillights were not visible, etc... then it matters. That is why I've always shyed away from smoked tail lights.... Always need to CYA with our mods as well. Let us know what you think of them....
Honestly I'm yet to find a inspection station in NC that looks for it on the tail lights or Headlights. My buddy has a set of heads and tail lights, the knock off speaker style and he's in Virgina where I have heard inspections can be tough and he said all they look for on the head lights are the DOT stamp and just that the tail lights work and backup lights and turn signals operate.b They don't look for a DOT stamp on the tails or not in Virgina from what I have been told and I know for a fact no where in NC looks for it, not on the heads or tails, just that they work.

Looks very nice. But then again my OEM lights work fine and I wouldn't spend $400 on taillights that I will never see lit up and don't offer any performance advantage.
I'm not going to go into details about how I know they make a European version and a American version but I know they do. Here is the listing for them right off my sheet. Maybe not on that website but you can get them
Alright guys, so I received my taiko lights today and just finished installing them. Simple installation like and truly a plug and play system as stated in earlier replies. No issues whatsoever. Break lights, turn signals, reverse lights; all work perfectly.
Here's some pictures of them installed. Absolutely love them!
