Has it been lifted ?

Got a new 2012 JK 2dr two weeks ago, it came with 245/75/16 Firestone Destination M/T. It does look to me as if it was lifted already, how can I confirm this ? Previously owned a Cherokee Country 96, so Wrangler is new to me.

look at the coil springs and above them to see if it has additional spacers. Stock ones are pretty thin.

Based on your sig it doesn't look like it. 245's are 31's and would fit fine without a lift, as many jeeps come with 32's stock. Could you post a pic? We could tell you for sure

That looks like stock height to me. It has the factory rake too.

When I got my JK, one of my buddies who had driven a TJ was almost certain it had been lifted. I knew better, since I had bought it brand new. It looked even more like it had a lift because it was on stock 29s.

in fact I would say it has pretty light front springs from the factory based on how the front is sitting.

I'm thinking stock too. If you want to know for sure, measure the rear frame rail to the pad on the axle where the bumpstop would hit at full stuff. The pic below was from my JKUR before any mods. If yours is close to the same measurement, you're stock.
