Have an issue with doors off

Took doors off for the first time, but have an issue when I turn the jeep off. The radio does not turn off. And yes I can hit the power button, but with the doors on when you turned off the ignition the radio would turn off.

Any suggestions?????

Its timed, the radio will turn off in a few minutes when the jeep is turned off when the doors are off.

Not sure what year/options the OPs jeep has...but in my '12, I can use the steering wheel mounted buttons to access the option to control when the radio turns off.

Yep, just turn it down and walk away... it'll shut off by itself.

Or if you don't have steering wheel mounted controls, and on older JK's, the interior light dimming switch on the column with the headlights will control the timing. You can set it to stay on for about 30 seconds to a few minutes. It's your own personal walk off song...

I think of it as theme music when I walk away. My daughters said I should get the theme song for Indiana Jones.

But always make sure you turn around and give your Jeep one more loving glance. They like that you care.

I had the same problem I went into the settings and set them to turn the power off when the key is removed. I originally just thought I would walk away and let it go off on its own.
That is until I got a call on my mobile when I was already in my house and the call was playing over the speakers in the jeep. Uconnect will be active until the power shuts down
