Having Second Thoughts . . .

I have a 2000 TJ 2-Door Wrangler Sport. I am considering the purchase of a 2012 2-Door Wrangler Sport S. I drove one yesterday for the first time. WOW, what a nice quiet comfortable ride on both city streets and freeways.

The 2012 JK is so plush compared to my 2000 TJ that the difference is night and day. In addition to driving on fire roads and 4 wheel drive roads in the nearby mountains, my Jeep is my hunting and fishing vehicle. I a little concerned about getting such a fancy ride as filthy as my TJ can get.

Any thoughts or comments based on your experience will be appreciated.

Keep the TJ as your hunting and fishing trail maker and get the JK as your new show-off toy.

No need for second thoughts. The JK will do anything you TJ did, and you will be more comfortable in the process.

The 2012 is a jeep. Go play with it. Now you'll just be more comfortable.

It's a jeep. Get it dirty and enjoy the ride.

Buy a dirty used one. That's what we did, but they still insisted on cleaning it up before we picked it up. Only reason for having to go back was for the new wheels and tires that they offered.
