You do have to remove grille. Open hood, Pop out the centers of the black plastic clips across the top of the grille, carefully pull them out, then you need to pull your grille off at the bottom. The bottom of the grille is pushed into clips, you just need to work it out of them. Remove the torx screws from around the lens housings to be able to twist the bulbs out. Make certain the orange rubber seals come off the housings.

Silverstars put out less actual light and more glare than the stock bulbs. If you haven't opened the blisterpack, return them and get Phillips Xtreme Power bulbs; they're the best H13 bulb available right now (except for Xtreme Vision bulbs that are harder to find).

I never did.

I pulled the airbox out & moved the little resevoir out of the way and got to the passenger side; just pushed the horn a little for the driver's side.
A little quicker.

But those bulbs are still low in lumens and high in glare.

Headlight thread with lots of info.
